Goals Month
In the beginning of March all of the children in my school are forced to come up with a goal and try to reach it by the end of the month. In the past I have had little goals like setting my clothes out before I go to bed or to learn a piece on the piano, but this year I have come up with a much better goal that will be fun to achieve. My goal for this month is to read at least five books over two hundred pages that I haven't read yet by the end of March. I have already finished one, Aces Up (272 pages), and I will tell you when I finish each book. The book I am reading now is called Hush Hush and I hope to finish it in two more days. Please, if you have any suggestions for books to read tell me in the comments.

Okay, I own both of these books, so borrow them if you want to read them. I especially think you will like the first one. A Great and Terrible Beauty, by Libba Bray, and Legacy, by Cayla Kluver. These are both longish books, especially Legacy, (which is my favorite book of all time) but they're worth reading. Really.
ReplyDeleteMy goal is to reach 20,000 words of my novel. So far, I haven't had time to write these past few days, which is very annoying, even more so because my goal involves writing as much as possible. So much for that :(
Hey, I'm a follower!
ReplyDeleteThanks for the recommendation Isabel! Yeah, one follower!!!
ReplyDeleteIt's better than nothing! I'm going to go tell Megha about this blog, see if she might follow it :)
ReplyDeleteI'm following! And I'm going to blog about this blog to try and get you some more followers :D
ReplyDeleteARGH. I'm so angry with myself that I don't even have a goal, because I feel I won't live up to it! On the upside, I won the giveaway for TIW so I'm looking forward to getting that on Tuesday/Wednesday. I can't wait to see the swag!
One of my goals, however, is to talk less. In class. I mean, I don't talk much in class, but it'd be even better to turn it to ZILCH, right?
Another goal, I guess, is to finish the whole Harry Potter series in March. I've only just finished the first book :D
Thank you so much, Megha! I've had no luck in persuading my mom to let me get a blog, just because she thinks it's a waste of time and my time could be better spent writing. *Sighs in exasperation* It's too bad. At least I can still blog in every way except for actually HAVING a blog.
ReplyDeleteI'm so glad you're enjoying HP!!!! The second book is hilarious.
Wow, Sadie, I was just looking at your profile, and it said you had approximately 11 views. That's good! You already have two followers, and Megha and I are going to try to get you more! So keep posting!
ReplyDeleteMegha: Thanks for following! Those sound like some good goals. The Harry Potter series is so great and the books only get better as they go along.
ReplyDeleteIsabel: I will definitely keep posting. Thank you both for trying to get me some more followers.
